III Congreso Internacional (Metaverse Reloaded: Rights, Innovation and the Emerging Digital Society)
- Jueves 23 y viernes 24 de abril de 2026
- En Alicante
In this third edition of the MetaverseUA Conference, titled ‘Metaverse Reloaded’, discussions will focus on some of the most pressing legal, technological and societal challenges raised by virtual worlds and related digital environments. In particular, the programme addresses issues such as safety and integrity in virtual worlds, the development of a single digital identity in the Metaverse, the future of the virtual economy, and the legal and technical foundations of the industrial metaverse. These themes will be examined together with their broader implications for innovation, fundamental rights, and the shaping of the emerging digital society.
Over the two days of the Conference, the programme will comprise four thematic sessions bringing together distinguished academics and practitioners from a range of disciplines and institutions, thus providing a multidisciplinary perspective on the opportunities and challenges of the Metaverse. In addition, the event will include two sessions dedicated to scientific communications selected through the call for contributions, as well as a special presentation of the White Paper on the Implementation of the Charter of Digital Rights to the Metaverse.
The Congress is organized in the framework of the Project on the Implementation of the Charter of Digital Rights financed by the public entity «Red.es»
